The 2026 Annual Meeting of the Fellows

 

Dear Fellows of The New York Bar Foundation:

Thanks to your continued support, the Foundation advances access to justice across New York State through grants, scholarships, and fellowships that support legal services and legal education.

Last year, your generosity enabled the Foundation to award 94 grants statewide. These grants helped individuals obtain legal education, assisted families facing critical matters such as child custody and domestic violence, and helped prevent eviction for vulnerable residents. These are only a few examples of the impact made possible by your support.

5:00 – 6:00 p.m.

The meeting will be held via Zoom and will include a brief business session and remarks from the Honorable Elizabeth Garry, Presiding Justice of the Appellate Division, Third Department.

During the meeting, we will also recognize Lucia B. Whisenand, recipient of the Foundation President’s Award, honoring her distinguished leadership in advancing the Foundation’s mission and her longstanding contributions to the field of Family Law.
